CONTROLLER TO REDUCE PEAK POWER REQUIREMENTS

FOR ELECTRIC UNDERFLOOR HEATERS

Some houses have several electric underfloor heating elements, but have inadequate power supplied to their houses. Underfloor heating elements draw large currents, varying between 3Amps and 20Amps per element. Considering that most houses have only a cable capable of 60Amps with a few having 80Amps, underfloor heating elements tend to be the major consumer in the houses during those cold winter times.

You can do the power budget yourself by adding up all the Amps for household appliances typically switched on at the same time. (even a small household would exceed the maximum supply current if one would assume that everything is switched on at once). If you prefer to have a professional opinion on your power budget, we can do that for you.
